Article 1 | Definitions

  1. Studio 55 is understood to mean: CB Concepts Group B.V., also trading under the name Studio 55, with its registered office in (1217AM) Hilversum at Witte Kruislaan 55a, registered in the Trade Register under Chamber of Commerce number 85781312.
  2. Studio 55 is indicated as the owner in these terms and conditions.
  3. The person or corporation that signs the agreement with Studio 55, is indicated as the tenant in these terms and conditions.

Article 2 | Booking, payment, cancellation and upgrading time slot

  1. The booking is in force when the invoice amount is paid.
  2. The invoice amount must be paid within an hour after booking the studio. Otherwise, the booking will not be in force.
  3. Upon booking the tenant will receive an e-mail with a payment link.
  4. Dates and timeslots cannot be reserved, as the owner wants to keep the booking process easy and transparent.
  5. Cancellation is free of charge up to seven days before the booking. After this period the owner will charge 100% of the booking fee. We do not give refunds within this period of seven days to booking. However you do have the option to reschedule your booking. This can be done only once. In addition, we need to be informed of your wish to reschedule up to 72 hours prior to the original booking date.
  6. The booking fee includes cleaning. When the studio is left dirty by the tenant, the owner will charge €25 per hour for the additional cleaning.
  7. When the photopaper backdrop is stained and/or wrinkled by the tenant, the owner will charge €10 per meter paper.
  8. When the tenant needs more time in the studio than booked, the time slot can be upgraded for an additional fee of €50 per extra half hour. This only applies in case the studio is not booked after your time slot.
  9. Coffee, tea and water are included in the tenants booking.

Article 3 | Credits

  1. Credits must be paid in advance. The credits are valid up to one year after the date of payment. Not used credits will expire after this date without restitution of the paid amount.
  2. The credits are not transferable. Credits can only be used by the same company.

Article 4 | Equipment

  1. The descriptions of the equipment that is made available by the owner are mentioned on the website.
  2. The tenant is responsible to check the equipment and pass along any defects to the owner.

Article 5 | Liability

  1. The tenant is liable for damage and theft of all the equipment, parts of it, utensils and the building made available by the owner.
  2. The tenant is responsible for the behavior of their own guests.
  3. In case equipment, parts of it, utensils or the building are being damaged by the tenant, the tenant is responsible for the compensation. The owner is allowed to charge these costs to the tenant. Purchase value of equipment will be used.
  4. The owner is not responsible for actions, including delays, made by suppliers.
  5. The owner is not responsible for damage, loss or theft of personal belongings of the tenant on the property of the owner.

Article 6 | Force majeure

  1. The owner has the right to cancel a booking.
  2. In case of force majeure the owner is entitled to interrupt, move or cancel the agreement. Force majeure means that the agreement is interrupted by circumstances where the owner has no influence on, like accidents, a fire or a pandemic.

Article 7 | Presence

  1. The tenant agrees that an assigned employee of Studio 55 always has the right to be present in the studio. With privacy sensitive shoots, castings, exhibitions, webinars, masterclasses and presentations, a declaration can be drafted upon request between both parties in advance. In this case the owner will withdraw itself as much as possible.
  2. The tenant is responsible for the arrival of their own guests.

Article 8 | Privacy

Information about tenants will be treated confidentially by Studio 55. The information about the tenants will only be used for communication with the tenants.

Article 9 | Other terms

The use of drugs is not allowed, use of alcohol is allowed in moderation. When the tenant is highly under the influence of alcohol, the owner is allowed to deny access to the building for the tenant.
